New York
Inspired by “The Great Gatsby”
With the beginning of summer buzzing in the air, Vivienne walks through the streets of New York dreaming of escaping to the sea. Getting lost in her thoughts she is transported to another time, a place she visits often in her mind, East Egg as if seeing it through the eyes of Daisy Buchanan.
The hedonistic freedom of Gatsby’s parties, the glamour and excess of the summer nights and the romance that ties it all together fueled her dreams to be in New York when she first read the book as a child. Now she yearns to find a moment like this for herself, a place that brings it back to life.
